    NOIDA, INDIA (November 17, 2008) - Jubilant Organosys Ltd. announced today that its subsidiary Clinsys Clinical Research, Inc.®, New Jersey, a global contract research organization (CRO), has acquired TrialStat ClinicalAnalytics® from TrialStat® for a purchase consideration of CAD 750,000.

    TrialStat ClinicalAnalytics (TrialStat CA) is a Web-based electronic data capture (EDC) solution currently used by a wide range of pharmaceutical and CRO customers worldwide. TrialStat CA is the industry's first EDC platform to allow all aspects of a study to be configured, deployed and managed through a browser interface, enabling customers to start their studies quickly and cost-effectively.

    Clinsys extensive global resources will enable TrialStat to continue its proven record of growth, customer service and product innovation. This agreement will give TrialStat's existing CRO and biopharmaceutical customer base a broader scope of services.

    CLINSYS® SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER RESEARCH THROUGH PASSIONATELY PINK FOR THE CURE® INITIATIVE

    BEDMINSTER, NEW JERSEY (October 1, 2008) - Clinsys Clinical Research, a therapeutically focused global contract research organization, today announced the launch of its Passionately Pink for the Cure ® campaign, a company-wide breast cancer awareness and fundraising program supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure® . All donations received through the year-long Clinsys Passionately Pink campaign will be matched by the company.

    Passionately Pink for the Cure is a national grassroots program in which companies, organizations, social groups and individuals select a day to wear pink, and each group member donates $5 or more to Komen for the Cure. Of the donations received through Passionately Pink for the Cure, 75 percent will go toward breast cancer research, and the remaining 25 percent will be shared with Komen affiliates to support local education, screening and treatment efforts.

    JUBILANT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF DRAXIS

    INDIA (May 28, 2008) - Jubilant Organosys Ltd., an integrated pharmaceutical industry player and India's largest Custom Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) company, today announced the completion of the transaction to acquire Canada-based DRAXIS Health Inc. (DRAXIS) for US $253 million. DRAXIS operates an FDA-approved manufacturing facility in Montreal, Canada, and employs approximately 500.

    DRAXIS offers products in three categories: sterile products, non-sterile products and radiopharmaceuticals. Sterile products include liquid and freeze-dried (lyophilized) injectables plus sterile ointments and creams. Non-sterile products are produced as solid oral and semi-solid dosage forms. Radiopharmaceuticals are used for both therapeutic and diagnostic molecular imaging applications.

    BEDMINSTER, NEW JERSEY - April 9, 2008 - Clinsys Clinical Research, Inc.®, a therapeutically focused global contract research organization (CRO), today introduced its Therapeutically-aligned Program Strategists (TPS), an innovative concept for the evaluation and execution of clinical trials. The TPS teams are comprised of highly skilled and experienced professionals with defined therapeutic expertise who evaluate, create and execute all sponsor projects, from clinical development plans and clinical trial design through protocol finalization, leading to successful trial conduct.

    Each TPS team consists of MDs, PhDs and a clinical operations program director with expertise in a specific therapeutic area. These strategists apply a research-oriented approach to clinical trial strategy, design and execution to either deliver a comprehensive clinical development plan or protocol, or review and critique client synopses and protocols. The TPS team also provides analysis of the competitive environment, the current standards of care and market potential. TPS services extend to design and implementation of generic and bioavailability/bioequivalence (BA/BE) trials.
